Hello and thanks to all that came to the LR Show South West in Shepton Mallet.

What was, in all fairness, a disappointing show turned out to be a good socialising weekend! Even if it did rain for an hour when we arrived and the gazebo got damaged in the strong winds on Friday evening!

A big thanks goes out to those who chipped in to help over the weekend, especially Tom and Pauline for sorting out the food, Paul for arranging a nice display of his discovery, and to Edwin & Elaine who were the first to arrive and the last to leave! There was a good atmosphere on camp and we had a good laugh! Thanks to those who visited our club stand - even though it was miles away from the actual event! We have written a letter to the organisers offering some constructive criticism...

Our thoughts go out to Paul and Liz Gibbs-Murray who, in unfortunate circumstances, had an accident on the way to the show Friday writing off their Discovery and Caravan... the main thing is they are ok and we'll hopefully see you on the road again soon! Thanks Liz for all your hard work the night before cooking us food and making cakes etc. the stuff that did arrive in one piece was lovely and we do appreciate it!
